Christine doesn't want to live in fear of the Phantom anymore, but she doesn't want him in harm's way like Raoul is suggesting. She finds herself in a difficult conundrum of being scared to the bone of her Angel of Music, and wanting to be loyal to the man that inspired her voice and helped her to her success. But all she wants is to live her life with Raoul without constantly worrying and looking over her back in fear.

FIT: Christine is desperate right now- absolutely torn over whether to go with Raoul's plan or to deviate from it in any form. When approached by the city's officials, she will be more than willing to do what it takes to regain control of her life. While she may not be entirely comfortable in sexual situations, having a very Victorian outlook on relationships, she has grown more confident since the beginning of the show- which reflects in her decision to agree to the terms of Eudio. She wants to take control of her own life and if this is offering her the opportunity, she'll take it.

CONSENT: Wildly my mind beats against you, but the soul obeys
Christine understands the importance of consent- and again, she has a very Victorian outlook on relationships, which is far more chaste than anything modern to say the least. As it is, it's Christine whose consent has been broken throughout the show on numerous occasions. She is constantly put under the thrall of and manipulated by the Phantom.
